“Oltre la maschera: l’arte del sogno e dell’illusione”

 

Divulgarti Group and Associazione di Promozione Sociale Arconte present the exhibition “Oltre la maschera: l’arte del sogno e dell’illusione” inside a historical location in sestiere di San Marco in Venice, inside the heart of the city.
From February 15th to March 2nd, 2025, an exhibition of contemporary art will take place, with the participation of international artists that will show their work through different artistic discipline: from painting to sculpture, from photography to video art, from digital painting to performance.
The opening will take place on Saturday, February 15th , 2024, at 5:30 p.m.

During Carnival, Venice transforms into a theatre of masks where identity, reality, and dreams intertwine. In this exhibition, “Beyond the Mask: The Art of Dream and Illusion”, contemporary art invites us to look beyond the surface to discover a world where masks do not conceal but reveal the illusions that often shape and confine us. Through works that evoke dreams, desires, and the continual play of light and shadow, the artists mirror humanity confronting its own uncertainties and aspirations, suspended between being and seeming.
In an age where image is everything, this exhibition challenges visitors to unmask themselves, to see themselves not only as part of a community but also as bearers of their own identity, constantly torn between the need for belonging and authenticity. Here, dreams and illusions are not merely paths of escape, but tools for rediscovery.
