I am born in the Netherlands and now living in France, and I am a Fiberart | Woolart artist.
In the Netherlands I studied art and interior design, and started my own business as an interior architect.
A few years ago I moved from the Netherlands to France, to a beautiful area in Pays d’Auge, the south of Normandy.
The nature there is inspiring me to make my wool paintings.
I specialize in creating unique pieces through needlefelting and wool painting.
In my work you will find my "Meraki" (soul)
My art is heavily inspired by nature and is a reflection of my soul's connection to the world around me.
Through the use of wool, silk and velvet, I am able to bring life and depth to my pieces, as each strand is carefully felted by one needle with intention and meaning, and capture the soulful essence of the subjects.
My eyes and hands are the guide when I work with the wool, bringing the message of nature and soul to life.
